Curiosity Destroys

Despite everything I've been through
I'm still inherently
Too curious

It will eventually destroy me,
This curiosity that plagues

And that's ok, it happens
I can't control it
Maybe I don't want to

I want to run rampant on this world
I want to explore everything
To know everything I possibly can

I seek the insights of intellectuals, sure
But I'd much rather experience it myself
And so I do

Get out and do what you're afraid of
Do what you know is wrong
Just to see what it feels like

If just once

You need to let loose
I need to let loose
And I do sometimes

Are you going to shame me for that?
It doesn't matter.
I pay for my decisions
And I learn from my mistakes

It's life and I'm going to live it.
